The team relied heavily on Hunter Hedlund, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three doubles, and three RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chess Lewer, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Santiam Christian pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Scio, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
Scio's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Santiam Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .391. It's a different story for Scio, though, as they've only averaged .256. Will they be able to contain Santiam Christian's hitters?
