Basketball Recap: Jed Yarnall's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Kings Way Christian School over Philadelphia Christian School

Kings Way Christian School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The match between them and the Philadelphia Christian School Eagles didn't end well, with the Kings Way Christian School Crusaders falling 68-54. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.

Kings Way Christian School lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jed Yarnall, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 boards. Yarnall continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tristin Philistin, who went 7 of 13 en route to 14 points and eight rebounds.

Kings Way Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Philadelphia Christian School, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Kings Way Christian School will take on Victory Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Philadelphia Christian School, they will challenge Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
