Football Recap: Clarkston Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Clarkston's offense. They were dealt a 46-0 defeat at the hands of the Lewiston Bengals on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bantams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 131st in Washington, while the Bengals are ranked 39th in Idaho).

Clarkston's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lewiston, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Clarkston will take on Rogers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Bantams their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Lewiston, they will host Bothell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
