Recap: North Idaho Christian Royals vs. Christian Center
There's no place like home for the North Idaho Christian Royals, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 42-28 victory over Christian Center on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for North Idaho Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Danica Kelly, who scored 17 points along with nine steals and five rebounds. Kelly is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Chelsey Cate was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
North Idaho Christian's victory was their 21st straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points per game. As for Christian Center, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
North Idaho Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against House of the Lord Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. Christian Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
