Softball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Madison's offense. They came up short against the Hanover-Horton Comets on Friday, falling 12-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

Madison saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mya Solis, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Solis has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Madison has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-4 record this season. As for Hanover-Horton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Madison will face off against Clinton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hanover-Horton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Manchester at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
