Softball Recap: Clinton Central Bulldogs vs. Twin Lakes Indians
Clinton Central's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Twin Lakes Indians. That's more bragging rights for Clinton Central, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Landree Whiteman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). Whiteman has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings every time she's pitched this season. Whiteman was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI.

The win got Clinton Central back to even at 2-2. As for Twin Lakes, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.
