Basketball Recap: Evergreen Takes a Loss

After flying high against Heritage last Friday, Evergreen came back down to earth. The Evergreen Plainsmen took a 62-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain View Thunder. The Plainsmen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunder apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Evergreen now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Mountain View, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Evergreen will be playing at home against Kelso at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mountain View, they will venture away from home to challenge Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Prairie's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
