Volleyball Recap: Montevideo Takes a Loss

Montevideo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss last Tuesday.

Montevideo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-7-1 record this season.

Montevideo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City at 7:00 p.m.
