Chesapeake is 7-2 against Greenup County since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Chesapeake Panthers will face off against the Greenup County Musketeers at 7:30 p.m. Chesapeake will be strutting in after a victory while Greenup County will be coming in after a loss.

Last Monday, Chesapeake didn't have too much trouble with Rock Hill as they won 48-31.

Meanwhile, Greenup County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against Russell, falling 55-31. While losing is never fun, the Musketeers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 221st, while the Red Devils are ranked 29th).

Greenup County's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Chesapeake, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Chesapeake beat Greenup County 41-30 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Will Chesapeake repeat their success, or does Greenup County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
