Basketball Recap: Leland & Gray Takes a Loss

Leland & Gray was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 57-46 to the Woodstock Wasps. The Rebels were not able to make up for their loss to the Wasps from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Leland & Gray's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Woodstock, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leland & Gray will take on Twin Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Twin Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.8 points per game this season. As for Woodstock, they are taking a road trip to take on Mill River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
