O'Neal suffers 16th straight loss at home

Recap: O'Neal Falcons vs. North Moore Mustangs

This season hasn't been kind to the O'Neal Falcons, who are still winless after their 11th match. They took a 61-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Moore on Tuesday. O'Neal was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as North Moore apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.

North Moore was led to victory by Dawson Futrell and Colby Pennington. Futrell scored 16 points along with five rebounds, while Pennington scored 15 points along with nine rebounds. The game was Pennington's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brady Preslar, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.

O'Neal bumped their record down to 0-11 with that loss, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. As for North Moore, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. O'Neal will challenge Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Moore won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Southeast Alamance at 7:30 p.m. on December 13th.
