Baseball Recap: Barnsdall's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Barnsdall waltzed into their game on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Memorial Chargers a 15-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-0 on Thursday.

Barnsdall's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Memorial, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Memorial beat Barnsdall by a score of 5-2 on Friday.
