Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mankato East). They came out on top against the New Ulm Eagles by a score of 4-2 on Sunday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Mankato East also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The win (which was Mankato East's third in a row) raised their record to 6-3-4. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three contests. As for New Ulm, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 9-1-1 and their overall record down to 12-2-2.

Mankato East didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-1 win against Owatonna on the 30th. New Ulm does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
