Parke Heritage is 0-4 against West Vigo since April of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Vikings at 5:30 p.m. Parke Heritage is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Parke Heritage is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 14 runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against North Montgomery on Friday. They came up short against the Chargin' Chargers, falling 8-2.

Renn Harper made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Meanwhile, West Vigo never let their opponents score on Saturday. Everything went their way against Covington as they made off with a 9-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.

West Vigo is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Parke Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Parke Heritage suffered a grim 15-2 defeat to West Vigo in their previous matchup back in May of 2023. Can the Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
