The home team had come away the winner the last five times Licking Valley and Johnstown-Monroe had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Johnnies on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won three matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Licking Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Johnstown-Monroe, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Licking Valley has already played their next contest, a 12-0 win against Zanesville on the 14th. As for Johnstown-Monroe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-1 victory against Utica on the 11th.
