Basketball Game Preview: Berea Pirates vs. Williamsburg Yellow Jackets

The Berea Pirates will take on the Williamsburg Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Tuesday, Berea came up short against Bluegrass United and fell 41-32. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Williamsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 57-42 bruising from Lee County.

Berea's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Williamsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16.

Berea beat Williamsburg 54-44 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Will Berea repeat their success, or does Williamsburg have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
