McComb is a perfect 5-0 against Perry since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will head out to face off against the Commodores at 5:00 p.m. McComb is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.9 runs per game this season.
On Monday, McComb made easy work of Leipsic and carried off a 15-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won ten matchups by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Lily Sebring made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off four hits. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
In other batting news, McComb let Madison Brown and Joruney Scheff run wild. Brown went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Scheff got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave Scheff a new career-high. Caroline Bryan was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
McComb always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Perry came up short against Ridgemont on Monday, falling 22-1.
Perry saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kierra Woods, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Woods has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Brooklynn Keysor also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
McComb has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Perry, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
Perry's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: McComb has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.8 hits per game. It's a different story for Perry, though, as they've been averaging 16.8 hits. Given McComb's sizable advantage in that area, the Commodores will need to find a way to close that gap.
McComb got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2025 against Perry by a conclusive 13-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
