Baseball Game Preview: Clinton Dragons vs. Sevier County Smoky Bears

Clinton hasn't had much luck against Sevier County recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Clinton will host Sevier County at 7:30 p.m. Clinton has given up an average of 9.4 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Clinton managed to slip by Union County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Clinton came up short against Union County on Tuesday, falling 16-1. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Dragons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Sevier County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 11-8 to Jefferson County.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Sevier County, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.
