Football Game Preview: Haralson County Rebels vs. Pepperell Dragons + How To Watch

The Haralson County Rebels will head out on the road to face off against the Pepperell Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Haralson County is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Temple: they outscored them in every quarter. The Rebels put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 26-6 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won five matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Paxton Ray had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 205 yards and four scores while picking up 10.3 yards per carry.

Ray was just one part of a punishing run game: Haralson County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 264 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Pepperell came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the Blue Devils to the tune of 35-7. That 28 point margin sets a new team best for the Dragons this season.

Haralson County's record is now 6-2. As for Pepperell, their record now sits at 5-3.

Haralson County lost to Pepperell on the road by a decisive 35-20 margin in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Dragons' Moss Tant, who rushed for 71 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 147 yards and one TD.
