It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bishop Gorman had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Coronado Cougars. Winning may never get old, but the Gaels sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Bishop Gorman never let Coronado on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, 25-17.

Bishop Gorman couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 43.8% of their attack attempts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Coronado only posted a hitting percentage of 14.9%.
Despite the defeat, Coronado had strong showings from Reagan Vint, who had 11 digs, and Julie Beckham, who had 14 kills, four digs, two blocks, and two aces. Beckham is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in the last 23 games she's played.
Bishop Gorman pushed their record up to 29-8 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Coronado, their loss dropped their record down to 30-6.
