Basketball Recap: Wonderful College Prep Academy Piles Up the Points Against Legacy Christian Academy

There's no place like home for Wonderful College Prep Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They really took it to Legacy Christian Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-37 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Wonderful College Prep Academy has posted since January 17th.

Leading Wonderful College Prep Academy to victory were Joseph Almaraz and Victor Hernandez. Almaraz posted 20 points, while Hernandez went 5-for-8 on his way to 13 points. Wonderful College Prep Academy is 2-1 when Almaraz posts 20 or more points, but 6-12 otherwise. Jose Gonzalez was another key player, putting up ten points.

Legacy Christian Academy lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Caleb Warren, who went 5-for-11 en route to 11 points. Another player making a difference was Lincoln Brown, who scored eight points.

Wonderful College Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Legacy Christian Academy, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-14.

The Lions didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 49-48 victory against the Wolves on the 12th. Legacy Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
