Basha's game on Tuesday was all tied up 28-28 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They snuck past the Tucson High Magnet School Badgers with a 61-57 win. The Bears' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Despite the defeat, Tucson High Magnet School saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jaylan Knight shot 47% from the field en route to 20 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Joaquin Sosa, who posted ten points.

Basha's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Tucson High Magnet School, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Basha will venture away from home to face off against Tolleson at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd. As for Tucson High Magnet School, they will head out to take on Mesa at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd.
