Softball Recap: Green Run Comes Up Short

Green Run was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 13-2 to the First Colonial Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Stallions of the 16-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Green Run's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for First Colonial, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Green Run and First Colonial will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Stallions see the field they'll take on Cox at 4:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for First Colonial, their break will end when they face Landstown at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
