Wilson extended their postseason success on Friday against Newport Christian. They came out on top against the Newport Christian Seahawks by a score of 59-46. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Wilson was led to victory by Duncan Quirarte and Ethan Shigamora. Quirarte went 10-for-15 to rack up 21 points and five boards, while Shigamora posted 12 points and five rebounds. Shigamora continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Josiah Lewis, who had eight points and 12 boards.

Wilson's win bumped their record up to 18-12. As for Newport Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 17-5 record this season.

Wilson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 67-60 victory against Big Bear on the 18th. Newport Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
