Soccer Recap: Forsyth Central Comes Up Short

Forsyth Central lost against Lambert back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Forsyth Central Bulldogs fell just short of the Lambert Longhorns by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 228th, while the Longhorns are ranked fifth).

Forsyth Central is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. As for Lambert, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Coming up, Forsyth Central will face off against West Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Forsyth Central is facing West Hall at the right time seeing as West Hall is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Lambert, they will take on Pace Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Pace Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season.
