Baseball Game Preview: Waterloo Tigers vs. Wayne Eagles

Waterloo is 1-9 against Wayne since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Waterloo and Mynderse Academy, and Mynderse Academy kept the tradition alive. The Tigers fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 3-1 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tigers have suffered against the Blue Devils since April 27, 2023.

Meanwhile, Wayne won against Palmyra-Macedon on Wednesday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Eagles came out on top against Honeoye Falls-Lima by a score of 5-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Wayne's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Waterloo, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
