Basketball Recap: Sioux City West Takes a Loss

Sioux City West won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 80-47 loss at the hands of the Le Mars Bulldogs. The Wolverines were probably out for revenge after losing 67-52 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sioux City West's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Le Mars, their victory ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.

Sioux City West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 73-57 defeat against Sergeant Bluff-Luton on the 17th. Le Mars has also already played their next contest, a 78-62 win against Jefferson on the 17th.
