While Colony's win against Ketchikan wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Kings 6-4. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Kings: they've now won three in a row.

Alexis Congdon was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Malana Bell, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one double.

Colony hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in nine consecutive matches.

Colony pushed their record up to 12-3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Ketchikan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, Colony will take on Sitka at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Ketchikan will be paying especially close attention to the Knights' game: after the Knights face off against Redington, they'll take on Ketchikan again at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
