Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mentor on Wednesday, St. Joseph Academy came back down to earth. The Jaguars lost 3-0 to the St. Ursula Academy Arrows on Saturday. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Arrows apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-12.

St. Joseph Academy now has a losing record of 9-10. As for St. Ursula Academy, they moved to 8-11 with that win, which also ended their five-match losing streak.

Looking ahead, St. Joseph Academy will venture away from home to face off against Gilmour Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Ursula Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Marian on the 6th.
