Baseball Recap: Douglas Comes Up Short

Douglas came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-1 to the Bellingham Blackhawks.

Douglas saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colbey Begin, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Andrew Nason also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Douglas' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bellingham, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Douglas will host St. Bernard's Central Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bellingham, they are taking a road trip to face off against Millis at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
