Game recap: Lee's Summit West High School Football Team bests Kearney

LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo. - Lee's Summit West (Lee's Summit, Mo.) snapped the 10-game winning streak of Kearney (Mo.), with a 42-14 victory on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a Thomas Ganaden touchdown pass to Monte Harrison in the first quarter, the Titans led 21-0 at the half.

Lee's Summit West grew its lead to 28 points entering the fourth quarter. LSW scored two times in the third, including once on a Ganaden touchdown pass to Harrison.

The Lee's Summit school went into the matchup giving up only 11.6 points per game. Kearney's 14 points were well below their season average of 40.0 per game.
