Soccer Game Preview: Mesa vs. Pinnacle

The Mesa Jackrabbits will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Pinnacle Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Mesa saw some tournament action on Friday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was Perry who was credited with the win. The Pumas got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Mesa's four. The loss put an end to Mesa's undefeated start to the season.

On Monday, Pinnacle got the win against Tucson High Magnet School by a conclusive 5-2. Pinnacle haven't had any issues with Tucson High Magnet School recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Pinnacle now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mesa, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1-1.
