Recap: Hartsville Red Foxes vs. Goose Creek Gators

The Hartsville Red Foxes scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They secured a 73-69 W over Goose Creek. The victory was nothing new for Hartsville as they're now sitting on four straight.

Jazzy Frierson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 34 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Hartsville's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tatiana Fisher, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 22 rebounds.

Despite the defeat, Goose Creek saw an underclassman step up: Aiyanna Moses scored 33 points. The contest was Moses' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Saniya Sanders, who scored 11 points.

Hartsville has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Goose Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Hartsville and South Florence will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. South Florence will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
