Basketball Recap: Central Catholic Takes Down Ranked Jesuit

On Friday, Central Catholic faced Jesuit in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Central Catholic Rams came out on top in a nail-biter against the Jesuit Crusaders, sneaking past 56-54. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 68-59 two weeks ago.

Central Catholic now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Jesuit, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Central Catholic will head out to face off against Gresham at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Gresham's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Jesuit, they will host West Linn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Linn will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Jesuit surely won't give up without a fight.
