Oakdale is a perfect 8-0 against Patterson since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. The last three games Oakdale has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Wednesday, Oakdale didn't have quite enough to beat Manteca and fell 4-2.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Patterson's offense. They came up short against Central Catholic on Friday, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Patterson dropped their record down to 8-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Oakdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Oakdale was able to grind out a solid victory over Patterson in their previous matchup back in March, winning 5-0. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
