Softball Recap: Turpin Gets the Win

Turpin lost to Walnut Hills back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Spartans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 4-2.

Turpin's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Walnut Hills, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Turpin will venture away from home to challenge Milford at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Walnut Hills, they will head out on the road to square off against Princeton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
