Softball Game Preview: Granger Spartans vs. Kittitas Coyotes

The Granger Spartans will take on the Kittitas Coyotes at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Kittitas will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Granger extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 21-5 margin over Mabton. The contest marked the Spartans' most dominant win of the season.

Meanwhile, in Friday's Canine Competition, Kittitas came out on top. They blew past Cashmere 16-9 on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Coyotes as they're now sitting on four straight.

Kittitas' win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 14.9 runs this season. As for Granger, their win bumped their record up to 8-3-1.
