Centennial is 7-1 against Totino-Grace since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cougars will head out to square off against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Centennial will be strutting in after a win while Totino-Grace will be coming in after a loss.

It was a proper cat-fight when Centennial took on Spring Lake Park on Tuesday. The Cougars' pitchers stepped up to hand the Panthers a 4-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Blaine hit Totino-Grace with a five-run second inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles lost 9-2 to the Bengals. The Eagles have struggled against the Bengals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Totino-Grace's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Centennial was able to grind out a solid win over Totino-Grace in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
