Basketball Recap: Wyandotte Comes Up Short

Wyandotte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Schlagle Stallions, falling 60-26. The Bulldogs lost against the Stallions in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 74-71 score last time.

Joseph Richardson had a dynamite game for Schlagle, putting up 17 points along with six steals and five boards. The dominant performance gave Richardson a new career-high in boards. Ronnie Bush was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine boards.

Wyandotte's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Schlagle, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Highland Park the next time they take the court. Wyandotte will head out to face Highland Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Schlagle will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
