Baseball Recap: Johnson City Comes Up Short

Johnson City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Norwich Tornadoes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 7-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Johnson City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Norwich, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10.

Looking ahead, Johnson City will host Windsor Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Norwich, they will head out on the road to challenge Chenango Forks at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
