Recap: Blue Ridge Christian Bears vs. Ridgeview Christian Crusaders
The Blue Ridge Christian Bears can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They blew past Ridgeview Christian 48-28. Given Blue Ridge Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while Ridgeview Christian is ranked 343rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Callie Paradzinski, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Faith Brunk, who scored six points along with two blocks.
Blue Ridge Christian's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. As for Ridgeview Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
Blue Ridge Christian will head out on the road to face off against Mountain View Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ridgeview Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Timberlake Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Timberlake Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday.
