Augusta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Pioneers.

Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 2-11-2. As for West, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 2-11-1 record.

Looking ahead, Augusta will head out to face off against Winfield on Thursday. As for West, they will challenge Heights on Thursday. West will be up against Heights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.27 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
