Soccer Recap: Airport Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Airport kept a clean sheet against Ypsilanti on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 2-0. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Airport's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 99th, while Ypsilanti are ranked 282nd).

Airport's win bumped their record up to 16-5-2. As for Ypsilanti, they now have a losing record of 4-5-3.

Looking ahead, Airport will host Chelsea at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ypsilanti does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
