Softball Recap: Colon Takes a Loss

Colon lost to Climax-Scotts on April 14th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Magi fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 5-3. The Magi have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colon's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Climax-Scotts, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.

Coming up, Colon will look to defend their home field on Friday against Centreville at 5:00 p.m. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so the Magi's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Climax-Scotts, they will head out on the road to face off against Union City at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
