On Friday Gracie Chandler pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. The effort also marked the fewest walks (one) Chandler has had since back in March of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with less than two hits. This season, she has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 5.00 over 7 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.262/0.458/0.381 with 18 runs and just as many RBI, plus 12 stolen bases.

Looking ahead, Chandler and Vardaman will be taking part in a tournament against Calhoun City at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
