Football Game Preview: Howland Tigers vs. Boardman Spartans + Official Tickets

Howland hasn't had much luck against Boardman recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Howland has given up an average of 31.1 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Howland's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Hubbard on Friday. They had to suffer through a 38-0 loss at the hands of the Eagles. The game marked the first time this year in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Boardman hadn't done well against Harding recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Spartans secured a 14-10 W over the Raiders. The game was the first time the Spartans have beaten the Raiders on their field since October 6, 2017.

Boardman's record is now 3-4. As for Howland, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Howland was dealt a bruising 35-7 loss at the hands of Boardman in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
