Volleyball Recap: Lake Forest Takes a Loss

Lake Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Fenton Bison.

Fenton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Rene Rivera out in front who had nine digs and two assists. Grady Vassar also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Lake Forest's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Fenton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-15 record this season.

Lake Forest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Hersey on the 3rd. As for Fenton, they will venture away from home to face off against Riverside-Brookfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
