Basketball Recap: Arbor Prep Takes a Loss

Arbor Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets, falling 48-28. While losing is never fun, the Gators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 264th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 110th).

Arbor Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Detroit Country Day, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Arbor Prep won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cass Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Detroit Country Day, they will challenge West Bloomfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
