Softball Recap: Carbon Hill Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Carbon Hill can now relate to. They fell just short of the Lauderdale County Tigers by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The Bulldogs' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Carbon Hill saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brittany Parker, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Carbon Hill's loss dropped their record down to 14-24. As for Lauderdale County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-17 record this season.

As of now, neither Carbon Hill nor Lauderdale County have any future games scheduled.
