Volleyball Recap: Pioneer Charter School of Science Takes a Loss

Pioneer Charter School of Science lost against Pioneer Charter School of Science II on September 5th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Pirates. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-27, 25-17, 25-18.

Yurie Lee had a dynamite game For Pioneer Charter School of Science II., getting 12 aces and seven digs. Lee is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Valeria Pineda, who had 20 digs and one assist.

Pioneer Charter School of Science's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Pioneer Charter School of Science II, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pioneer Charter School of Science will challenge Salem at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pioneer Charter School of Science II, they will head out to square off against Boston Collegiate at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
